WHO WE ARE
The founders are Tim and Deb Traxinger. Since retiring, they have become increasingly aware of the needs of pastors and nonprofit leaders who are exhausted and in need of affordable respite care.
Theological topics have become more political and polarizing. This adds to the stress of dealing with declining attendance, rapidly changing social issues, burnout and mental health concerns for themselves and their congregations. Many nonprofits are struggling financially, in addition to recruiting enough volunteers to help deliver vital programs.
Howard’s House respite will provide pastors and nonprofit leaders with a low-cost temporary place for care, support, training and connections.
