Pastoral Care
Paula Hoogland is deeply committed to walking alongside ministry leaders during seasons of challenge and crisis. With more than a decade of experience providing practical, emotional, and spiritual support, she has been a compassionate guide for those facing burnout, marital conflict, ministry stress, family struggles, and addiction. Her work is marked by confidentiality, empathy, and a deep understanding of the unique pressures that come with life in ministry.
Having grown up as a preacher’s kid, Paula understands firsthand the complexities of life in the fishbowl and the weight of leadership responsibilities. She has served as a missionary in Bosnia, worked in Christian education and nonprofit leadership, and spent years helping ministry leaders navigate personal and professional challenges with grace and resilience.
Married for nearly 30 years, Paula and her husband have raised three grown children and have experienced the joys and struggles of family life in ministry. Outside of her work, she finds restoration through gardening, cooking, and painting—creative outlets that reflect her love for cultivating beauty and renewal in all aspects of life.
Paula’s heart is to provide a safe, compassionate space for ministry leaders to find healing, clarity, and strength, ensuring they can continue to serve with wholeness and purpose.
